Borderlands 2: Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage DLC out this month

Done with the “Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty” DLC that was released just over a month ago? Well 2K and Gearbox games wont allow their Vault Hunters to have nothing to do for to long. “Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage” is the title of the latest DLC coming to Borderlands 2 and boy does it look like the Torgue corporation has gone crazy.

Patricia Tannis has found a new vault, but unlike the others that required some form of a key, this one will open to the bravest warrior on Pandora. Mr. Torgue (of the Torgue corporation) is hosting an arena tournament to find the biggest badass on the planet with the winner being the only person allowed to enter the new vault. Like the previous DLC, Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage takes place in its own new location, the Badass Crater of Badassitude, which is mainly covered by desert areas but does contain several towns with buildings of various heights with different levels for you to discover.

Gearbox has added new vending machines that carry blue-level Torgue weapons and up, with the item of the day always being orange. The catch is that these weapons can only be bought with “Torgue Tokens” which will be obtained through the missions throughout the DLC.

If you loved the original game and first DLC you will definitely want this one, especially with Mr. Torgue and his “pecks, and explosions, ‘n’ s**t.”
