Left-4-Dead-screenshots-1Electronic Arts is reportedly set to close its EA Partners label.

According to Game Informer sources, who claim that the remaining projects set for release under the Partners label, Insomniac’s Fuse and Respawn’s first title won’t be affected.

Established 1997 as a contract-based publishing services for independent developers, the EA Partners label helped bring many major projects to market including the Left 4 Dead, Crysis, Rock Band series, as well as Bulletstorm, and many more.

EA has been streamlining its business in recent months, resulting in a major layoff operation as it bids to ‘sharpen its focus to provide games for new platforms and mobile’. John Riccitiello resigned as EA CEO in March.
