Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today released a brand new trailer for METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN, the next chapter of the METAL GEAR SOLID franchise, at this year’s E3. This upcoming title will be released on the Sony PlayStation3 computer entertainment system, the Sony PlayStation4 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and the Xbox One video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.

In addition to the franchise’s returning characters, such as Snake, Kazuhira Miller, Ocelot, and Emmerich, METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN will introduce all new characters to the METAL GEAR universe. The storyline will focus on dark themes that portray the ugliness and tragedy of war, as a legendary hero falls from grace.
